Cancellation Policies
Illness
Sometimes illnesses occur. 24 hours notice for cancellations and reschedules is still required whenever possible.
If you feel like you are coming down with something but fighting it, that is also not a good time to receive facial or bodywork.
If you're unsure about whether or not to come in for your session because you are sick or think you're getting sick, please call us. We are happy to walk you through the decision process.
In general though, please use common courtesy. If you suspect you are contagious please stay home.
Please do not come in if you're sick or have a contagious condition. (This includes cold sores) There are 3 main reasons for this:
- We don't want to catch what you have.
- We don't want our other clients to catch what you have.
- Facials and waxing can greatly worsen the symptoms of a virus or cold sores.
Please call and explain that you are ill and need to reschedule.
Unexpected events
We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In our desire to be effective and fair to all clients, the following policies are honored:
24 hour advance notice is required
When cancelling an appointment please kindly give 24 hr notice. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment. If you are unable to give a 24 hour advance notice, you will be charged in the amount of 50% of your service appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
No-shows
Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” Therefore, a fee of 50%+ will be charged for the “missed” appointment prior to the next appointment. No Show-No-Call voids gift certificate and results in 100% charge of your scheduled service.
Late Arrivals
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, we will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
***Please note that clients are still responsible for showing up for their appointment even if they do not receive a courtesy reminder***
Payments
We accept cash and all major credit cards.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
